2. Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:
Timeframe: You must initiate a return within 30 days of the delivery date of your item.
Condition: The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition that you received it.
Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase (e.g., your order number) is required.
3. Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned. These include:
Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, newspapers, magazines).
Intimate or sanitary goods.
Hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases.
Gift cards.
Downloadable software products.
Some health and personal care items.
Items clearly marked as “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable” on the product page.
4. The Return Process
Since CheesyFinds operates on a dropshipping model, returns are handled directly with our suppliers, which may vary depending on the product. To initiate a return:
Contact Us: Email our customer support team at shop@cheesyfinds.com within the 30-day return window. Please include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return. Photos may be requested for damaged or defective items.
Await Instructions: Our team will review your request and provide you with specific return instructions, including the correct return address (which may be different from our business address) and any necessary return authorization numbers. Do not send items back to us or the original shipping address without prior authorization.
Package Your Item: Securely pack the item in its original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, and parts.
Ship the Item: You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item unless the item is defective or incorrect. Shipping costs are non-refundable. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for items over $50, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
5. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected by our supplier, we will send you an email notification confirming receipt and informing you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Approved Refunds: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a certain number of days (typically 5-10 business days), depending on your bank or payment provider.
Late or Missing Refunds: If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at shop@cheesyfinds.com.
6. Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately (within 7 days of delivery) at shop@cheesyfinds.com with your order number and photos of the damage/defect. We will work with our supplier to arrange for a replacement or a full refund, typically without the need to return the defective item.
7. Exchanges
We generally do not offer direct exchanges.If you need a different size or item, please initiate a return for the original item (if eligible) and place a new order for the desired product.
8. Cancellations
Orders can only be canceled if they have not yet been processed. If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us immediately at shop@cheesyfinds.com. We cannot guarantee cancellations once an order is in fulfillment.
